AVRO 146-RJ100 VH-NJP COBHAM
A surprise visitor to our airport!! I saw this
Avro 146 coming in from the north as I was heading out of town. A quick U-turn,
a bit (well LOTS) of speeding got me back to the airport just after the Avro had
landed and was back tracking on Rwy 21.
I don't know what the reason was that he landed but he stopped on the apron for about 10 minutes before departing to Perth. While he was stopped, no one approached, boarded or disembarked from the aircraft. My apologies for the shakey bits and other stuff ups.....I didn't have time to set anything up, it was just grab my cameras and film :)
